CompTIA Security Plus (2008 Edition)
Exam Domains.
This exam is split up into 6 study and knowledge areas and the exam will test your competence in each of these areas to varying degrees. The 6 domain areas are listed below;
- Domain 1.0 - Network Security - 21% of the questions
- Domain 2.0 - Compliance and Operational Security - 18% of the questions
- Domain 3.0 - Threats and Vulnerabilities - 21% of the questions
- Domain 4.0 - Application, Data and Host Security - 16% of the questions
- Domain 5.0 - Access Control and Identity Management - 13% of the questions
- Domain 6.0 - Cryptography - 11% of the questions
