Programming Languages and Techniques

So you want to learn to programme, or you just want to learn some new techniques. Perhaps you want to be a better programmer. This is the place to hone and enhance your skills, learn something new or, perhaps, share something you know with everyone else.

Here I will cover several different languages as well as good programming techniques. I will delve into the maths of programming and algorithms. We can explore nesting, using loops, creating functions and procedures and learn how to create a proper structured programme.

I will gradually add and attempt to give advice and guidance on; Java; JavaScript; HTML5; Visual Basic; C# (C Sharp) and Jackson Design Methodology

Just a word on different web languages and technologies. If you are developing a website you need to think carefully about the audience you want to attract and this will help you to make good, informed decisions about the types of tools you use. Think about the reason you might want to include Flash or JavaScript or TeX / LaTeX.

More content and detail is being added to this site all the time. Check back regularly to see what's new.
